2017!!!!
Wow, can you believe it? It’s that time again and a much anticipated one for Absaroka Alpacas! The National Western Stock Show is now 111 years old and still going strong. We enjoy this show very much as it is a great show and a great way to meet the public and teach them about alpacas. Absaroka Alpacas will be at the National Western Stock show on Saturday and Sunday, Jan 7th and 8th for opening weekend showing off s few of our newest additions to the herd. Come out to the Stadium arena for an Afternoon with the Llamas / Alpacas January 7th at 2pm for your chance to pet and mingle close up. You can get up close with the alpacas and Llamas as the audience is invited into the arena to mix with the animals. You can pet, ask questions, take photos or just look. It’s all great fun! Later at 3pm the Alpaca halter show begins. This is where some of the best breeders in the state, and a few out of state, come to go head to head on showing what they have produced over the past year or so. Some of the better quality alpacas can be seen at this show.
